Season 2

Penny has killed a spider for the boys in the apartment. The others are already sitting together for dinner. Penny has a piece of news for Sheldon and Leonard: The neighbors above are moving out. This is, however, a drama for Sheldon: He hates changes, especially since his neighbors were silent and almost invisible. Penny teases him that an opera singer or something similar is probably moving in. Leonard begs her not to make it worse. Howard offers to rent the apartment, but that would be a nightmare for Penny.

Raj, Leonard and Sheldon are at Howard's place. They want him to actually help with the move. But they already hear a loud argument between him and his mother in front of the door. In the end, Howard stays with his mother and Leonard gives Penny the all-clear.

When Sheldon comes home, the whole staircase is full of boxes. Sheldon suspects that these belong to the new neighbors and shakes the boxes in search of clues about the tenants. Then a pretty blonde comes and introduces herself as Alicia. She is the new neighbor and Leonard immediately finds her attractive. Sheldon, however, subjects her to an interrogation to find out more about her.

Leonard is helping Alicia to carry things up when Penny walks past them. Though she smiles, Penny seems to be not very impressed by Alicia.

Sheldon sits in his spot and thinks. Penny asks about Leonard, but he is at Alicia's and, with Raj and Howard, is assembling a system. Howard is trying to impress Alicia. Then Penny comes and gives Alicia a housewarming gift. Leonard tells her that Alicia is also an actress, and when Alicia tells of her previous jobs, Penny must bluff, in order to not rate as a loser. To impress them, she tells everyone a physics joke, which is definitely not well received. Alicia asks Leonard to connect the printer. However, when Penny reminds him that a week ago he wanted to do that for her, he becomes angry.

Penny goes to Sheldon and sits with him on the sofa. She is angry. Sheldon tells her about queen bees, which feel threatened when a new queen comes into the hive. She must either give up or fight.

Penny and the boys are sitting with food when Alicia knocks. She needs a driver and immediately Raj, Howard and Leonard jump up. Penny is upset that Alicia is apparently exploiting the boys.

Alicia meets Penny in the laundry room and tells her of a new job as an actress. She asks Penny what physicists earn and is disappointed that it probably isn't much. When she tells Penny that the guys are painting her room, Penny asks her not to exploit them. However when Alicia accuses her of the same, the two of them get in a catfight. When the boys come home, they are rolling around fighting in the hall. Howard is delighted.

At the next meal in the apartment, they all hear loud crashing from Alicia's apartment. Howard relates that she is involved with a producer. Then the bed is heard squeaking and Sheldon is angry that they still have to bounce on the bed
