When it comes to success, it?s often accompanied by a higher salary. In the case of the successful sitcom The Big Bang Theory this hold on for years now. The main characters and popular figures know that very well. So they are now demanding a concluded raise of their fees for the eighth season. And that likely hurt the makers of the hit series!
Up front are Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco, who want to increase their currently $ 350,000 per episode to a whopping $ 500,000. Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar also want to to high up their fees.
Bilaik Mayim and Melissa Rauch already successfully negotiated, which will get them approximately $ 60,000 per episode and thus almost double their salary.
The creators are now under tremendous pressure. The three main characters especially stick together in the negotiations, because they are aware of their excellent position. Many things depends on their roles. If they are gone it will decrease the ratings - therefore they will probably bite the bullet and choose lesser of two evils.
